I’m excited to finally share with you all the photos from our recent bathroom facelift project. But, like most of my own at home projects I was too eager to start working that I failed to take any reasonable before shots.
Inspired by the Turkish men’s spa experience mixed with some GQ worthy accessorizing – this space for us strikes the right balance between our shared eclectic style and the contemporary architecture throughout the rest of our home.
My husband has worked in the fashion industry for over 2 decades and for him and I getting dressed in the morning has always been an important part of our day- and the fact that this ensuite is in essence an extensions of our walk in closet we wanted it to feel reminiscence of our wardrobes.
Keeping in mind this was not a complete gut job and we wanted to be able to cosmetically enhance the space to feel more in line with our style we couldn’t be happier with how it has all come together. Something as simple as updating the wall tiles with inexpensive vinyl shelf liner we picked up at Canadian Tire and monotonously trimmed to sized is perhaps our favourite element in the room – and proves that with creativity great style can be achieved without spending a ton of money.
